Inuti partnered with Puraffinity to deliver a complete relocation of headquarters to London’s White City innovation district. The 5,500 sqft project transformed commercial office space into a high-performance laboratory and workspace, designed to meet the growing operational and technical needs of this pioneering water purification company.
The scope included full feasibility, design, and turnkey delivery, with critical attention paid to the mechanical infrastructure, spatial planning, and power limitations inherent to the existing shell. Inuti acted as strategic advisor from the outset, aligning the project with future growth and technology deployment needs.
Our integrated approach enabled a streamlined programme, balancing budget, technical ambition, and landlord coordination across a complex, multi-tenanted site.

Designing within the constraints of shallow ceiling voids and limited riser space, our engineers developed a tailored M&E strategy that ensured safe installation of 6 fume cupboards. The solution included a crane-lifted plant solution, which was complicated by proximity to a live rail line, requiring Network Rail approvals and precise lift sequencing.
We also addressed structural loading concerns, adapting the lightweight modular framework to support critical lab equipment and containment systems. Through close collaboration with the landlord, tenants, and SME partners, Inuti ensured seamless delivery and long-term serviceability in a technically complex setting.
